Erin has a natural talent for writing, able to write across a variety of mediums and styles.

NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Challenge (2017) Finalist and ScreenCraft Short Story Competition (2016) Semi-Finalist (top 8%), Erin's writing is shaped by her love of language and experimenting with different voices.

She has worked across article and content writing, ghostwriting, creative writing, scripts and copy, and currently reviews for TheatreScenes. She was the co-creator of a sell-out performative tour of The Civic Theatre (2017), in which she brought New Zealand icons such as Jean Batten and Frida Stark to life.

In 2019, Erin made her playwriting debut with 'An Organ of Soft Tissue', which examined trauma and rape culture through an abstract and often humorous lens, and had a successful first season at the Basement Theatre.

She continued creating feminist theatre with solo show 'Coded' which performed at TAPAC as part of the 2021 Auckland Fringe Festival, and received the PANNZ Registration Award.
